How Do Optimized Bookings Work?

As a registered travel advisor, I can book your entire trip for you - flight, hotels, tours, cruises, everything! When booking with a travel advisor, you’ll often receive perks, upgrades or premium service due to the relationships that the travel agency has with the services you’ve booked. It’s possible that you’ll be entitled to similar perks based on your hotel/airline/cruise status and/or the perks that come with specific credit cards.

I will take your full picture into consideration and book the services that benefit you the most. That may mean paying cash for a tour and benefiting from the perks I can provide as a travel advisor, while also earning you the maximum number of points. Or that may mean using your points for a free room or flight but leveraging the benefits that come with your credit card. Every situation is different — I’ll look at your specific situation and build out the trip that benefits you most.

  • As a travel advisor, my agency has relationships with many hotels, cruise companies and tour providers. By leveraging these relationships, you’ll be entitled to a variety of perks that range from room upgrades to complimentary breakfast to late checkout. The perks will vary (and may not be guaranteed) but you can rest assured that you’ll be taken care of.

  • Different credit cards earn different levels of points depending on the category of spend. We’ll review the credit cards that you have and choose the card that will earn you the greatest number of points. If you’re working with me on a longer horizon, I may recommend that you open a card that will help you to maximize your point earnings and work towards your overall travel goals.

  • Do you have a few points but not enough for a full trip? We’ll take a look at the points you’ve accumulated and how to best apply them to your trip. That may mean we use your points on a flight but pay for a hotel or tour. We’ll create a plan and a strategy that works best for your individual goals and needs.
